The Butterfly Run for BlindSight charity in Denver NC

With funds from The 2019 Khaleda Run - an eye clinic was established at the Hope Mission Center in Mafredi, Belize.  Through BlindSight Inc, we were able to set up an exam room and optical room for ongoing eye care projects in that region of Belize.  In June of 2022, Dr. Barker and Assell along with a support team worked in the clinic to serve Mafredi and the Punta Gorda region.  They were able to see over 100 patients provide prescription glasses, make surgical referrals and provide non-prescription sunglasses to every patient.  The clinic was a great success.  It was an honor to serve the people of Belize, and we look forward to returning in the future.  We are also grateful to our local community for supporting The Khaleda Run and donating glasses for use abroad.
